Amanda Miller's Gig Posters

Since my actual major is graphic design, here's a sample of some gig posters I designed last night

for my wonderfully talented aunt Amanda Miller's upcoming show in Iowa City.

Aunt Mandi is a musical wonder, and she's lovely. So, go see her show!

we are brittany and brandee rees, the two oldest sisters in a creative family of 5 b's (brittany, brandee, baylee, bradley & blake)

we are natives of blue grass, iowa, and currently reside and work in nashville, tennessee.

we seek to use our creativity to bless and honor God in all that we do, and help people encounter His all consuming love that has rendered us never the same. He has rescued both of us with His love, bringing us out of darkness and into the light of JOY.

His love for us is fierce, active, unfailing, unchanging, unconditional, volitional, self-sacrificial and often ineffable.

so this is our creative adventure with Love himself.

we value the genuine, so our photo style is more photojournalist than posed.

we think real life is the most beautiful, even if it's not perfect.

we love all kinds of natural light and see photography as a way to capture bits of wonder, delight and true beauty.

brandee (bran) is a graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, with a B.F.A. in graphic design and minors in art history and english.

she prefers conceptual art, randomness, texture, vintage things, the color green, babies and the north shore of lake superior. she's had a camera in hand since she was a little girl, and she likes creating stop motion animations. she thinks of it as taking life apart into moments and piecing it back together again. to her, art is life and life is art.

brittany (boo) is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a B.A. in english and minor in art history.

she has been telling stories since she was a little girl. an artist of words, she likes soft music, blue, meandering walks and writing songs on her guitar. she's also a very good dancer.
